Therapeutic Group Programs

Group sessions are aimed at supporting people to feel more connected and develop insight and skills in communication. These groups are shown to reduce anxiety and depression symptoms and allow a strength based reflective forum for attendees to process their experience in a safe environment.

2025 Art Therapy for Chronic Illness

Are you navigating the emotional and psychological impacts of chronic illness or ‘invisible’ conditions like chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, or long COVID? You are not alone.

At Meliora Psychology we will be offering a 5-Week Art Therapy Support Group. In a safe and supportive space, you’ll have the opportunity to express your emotions, process your experiences creatively, and connect with others who understand your journey. Meliora Psychology practitioners are trauma informed and provide an LGBTQIA+ safe environment.

What to Expect:

  • Art can be used therapeutically to help explore and express your feelings.
  • Supportive small group environment of 6-7 to share and learn from others’ experiences.
  • A safe space to process grief, loss, and the emotional toll of chronic illness.
  • Facilitated by a registered psychologist with experience in grief and chronic illness support.
